Right in the Eye!
My mom's surgery went well, a laser removed some film from behind her eye. The whole thing sounds hideous but it was an outpatient procedure and all she needed was a lot of reassurance and rest. That's the only bad thing about being overseas--worrying about my mom, who's 86 and has no other family in Maryland.
